A little like your plate on thanksgiving...

...I have a little bit of everything today.

First off we had a wonderful holiday weekend. We were not too busy yet we were gone all weekend, how is that even possible?? We ate way too much food, had many good converstations, and slept a little late everyday.

I am so glad that all that is over.

Sometimes I feel like I need a vacation from my vactions. Somehow I am more tired today than I was all weekend. It was good while it lasted but I am thankful for going back to work (you will not hear me say this too often).

As you all know my camera broke. I have been trying to take as many pictures as possible but without a camera it is pretty hard, lol. I have been bumming cameras off people though. Finally my dad caved and said we could borrow his camera for a while. He knows I feel lost without it! THANKS DAD!!!

Too bad I did not get the loaner camera until Sunday though. We took the kids down to the Thanksgiving Parade. It was the first time for all of us. Nylin and Jace really enjoyed it, Kara was ready for a nap and did not care much--maybe next year.

Some of you may know that it also snowed here this weekend. Not too nasty but just enough to cause major traffic problems all over. I have only left my house one time since the snow fell. I am so not a fan of snow. The kids love it though. Jace stood on the couch and looked out at the fresh morning snow for about 30 minutes. I do not think he has ever done anything but cry or sleep for that long. He was amazed.
Nylin enjoyed throwing snow balls at her cousins and getting all cold and wet. I chose to stay inside :)

Okay on with the pictures.....

The famous food shot. I would have taken a pic of the glorious turkey but someone (JOHNNY AND JASON) ripped off the skin and ate it about an hour before dinner.

Jace thought it was funny to steal his sisters corn, he did it twice. He loved his corn, and Nylin's too!

Here is my girl having her first Thanksgiving Dinner. She ate SO MUCH! She also had her first bottle of whole milk. She really liked that, but maybe not as much as Nana's dressing.

I am pretty sure they were telling me to put the camera down and eat :)

Nylin and Oshen pausing from wreaking havoc in Nylin's room.

My backyard snow....
