OW, Somethin' Bit Me!
I think a spider got a hold of my arm. All I know is that it is red, hot, has 2 punctures and looks like it is starting to rot. Oh and did I mention it hurts like hell? Well it does.
I went to the doc and they gave me antibiotics. That is not helping at all. It hurts.

$3 Barbie Update
I went to KMart and Target and nothing. They were all sold out. WalMart is not carrying them at all.
KMart is offering a raincheck for the $3 price that is good for 1 month. I was able to reserve 4 under that price. I want to buy one for each of the girls to play with and one for each of the girls to save!
When I get the Barbie I will take pics of her. Not sure I like the new swimsuit design all that much!

Happy Birthday Barbie!
Today is Barbie's 50th birthday. Barbie made her debut in NYC on March 9th, 1959.
Of course she looks as good as ever. She still has a rockin' bod, perfect golden hair, and skin as smooth as the day she was born.
Even though Barbie should have aged somewhat by now, I am pretty glad that she has stayed the same 'ol Barbie I know and love (well with a slightly larger waist and a slightly smaller chest- redesigned in 1997 to be more realistic). I remember growing up and thinking Barbie was the coolest "person" ever. She could do whatever she wanted and nothing ever got in her way. She could be a fashion model, an astronaut, a doctor, flight attendant, pilot and then she could run for president, all without skipping a beat (or adding a wrinkle or gray hair). Watching Barbie achieve everything she ever wanted was quite the inspiration to me.
Mattel has released a new version of the original doll. I have heard some chatter of them selling for the original price of $3. needless to say I will be skipping my lunch time workout and heading to every store I know of that sells Barbies, in search of the newold Barbie. A little nostalgia never hurt anyone ;)

New Years Resolutions
It is March 6th do you know where your New Years Resolutions are?
I thought I would check in with you all on your resolutions and give you an update on mine.
My goals were
1. Get Healthy
2. Get Organized
3. Blog More
Number 1, Get Healthy- I feel like I am doing pretty good. I have had a few hiccups on the way but I am still pretty well on track. I have lost about 15 lbs so far and I am feeling much better. I am working out about everyday (at least 5-6 times a week). I do not feel AS winded when I am chasing after my favorite monsters but I still have a LONG way to go!
Number 2- Get Organized, well this is harder than it sounds folks. I have a 3 bedroom house 5 people, a dog and no storage. I have thrown things out, donated things etc. It seems for every item I get rid of 3 more appear in it's place.
This is a work in progress my friends but I am really trying. Really.
Number 3- Blog More. Well I am sure I do not have to even tell you this but I SUCK at this one. Between working out, trying to get organized and taking care of 3 kids I can hardly time find time to shower much less blog. I really want to try harder on this though and I will. I hope.
