Jason and I started our own business. We have talked about this for a long while but we are finally doing it!
We are both so excited and ready for some business! We will be selling and installing new garage doors and openers. We (meaning Jason) can also repair and service any garage door!

A Big Week for Jackson

This kid amazes me!


He has been a little behind in just about everything since about 2 months. Well this week he has decided to change all that!

1. He FINALLY has his first tooth- it is not all the way through yet but I can actually see it right under his gum. He is 10 months old!!!! All of my other kids had a full mouth by time they were 1! I have no idea why he is so late ??

2. He ate a whole "jar" of food last night. Feeding has been an issue with him ever since we started trying to feed him solids. I try every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner but the kid only wants those puff thingys. Finally last night he ate ground up sweet potatoes mixed with baby cereal!
3. He pulled himself ALL the way up and even cruised a little bit! He has been half pulling up for a while now but he stops when he gets to his knees, not anymore! YIKES...
4. He recognizes what "NO NO" means AND he knows how to do it back to me! When he was done eating last night he pushed the spoon away from me and shook his head back and forth. I could not believe he knew what he was doing so we kept doing it, and he kept shaking his head and pushing it away. Aww, My big boy!

5. We gave him his 4th haircut last week. 4 people. The rate that his hair grows is just INSANE. Jason and I joke that God gave him an extra hair gene since he was jipped on the skin gene.

Spring!

Spring is here YAY!!!!!!

The kids are so excited for spring to be here. We all love being able to get out and enjoy the weather together! It has been so nice and I hope it stays that way. Jace is super excited about spring being here because he knows his birthday is in the spring, boy is he excited about that. He wants a spaceship birthday cake and he reminds me every. single. day. I think I will give this one a shot....He keeps going back and forth between a spaceship party and a Toy Story 3 party.

Nylin is excited because she know that spring is right before summer and summer means NO SCHOOL and THE BEACH!!!! We are going to Gulf Shores in June, just one week after school lets out :) Doesn't this look lovely??

Kara is just excited because everyone else is, hahaha. No really she loves being outside!!!!
Here she is enjoying our evening walk.

Jackson loves being outside. He really enjoys our evening walks, he just looks around at everything and soaks it all in. I am not sure how his skin is going to react to the warmer weather but I guess we will just wait and see. It may be ok in the Spring but not so good int he summer. Hopefully he will be up and walking in the summer so he will mainly only deal with blisters on his feet. Right now his little legs and his hands are all messed up due to the crawling :( Maybe being in the water (pool) will do the little guy some good. I know I have not talked too much about Jackson's skin on this blog, but brace yourself, EB is very much a part of our lives and this blog is about our lives.
