It is the little things in life...

Jace made me so proud this morning.

This is a little silly but to me it was a huge accomplishment. As a mother little things like this can change our entire day.

We have a basket that we keep shoes in by the door.

Everyday I tell Jace to get his shoes.

Everyday he comes back with one of each kind.

They are always his but they are mismatched. EVERYDAY I walk back over there and show him he needs the SAME shoes.

Today he walked over and picked up one croc, I thought for sure he would pick up something else since the other croc was buried. He moved stuff out of the way and found his other croc. He was so happy. I clapped and he was laughing so hard he could barely stand it. LOL

It is the little things in my life that make me so happy. Who would have ever thought a child finding matching shoes could make me so happy? It is so amazing to watch each of them grow and learn everyday. It is just as amazing to know that I am the one that is helping him to grow and learn all these things.

Now I am getting emotional, over a shoe find.
